An independent, external view of the operation can be the best way to give the business a ‘health check’. Our compliance audit services provide this to operators of all types and size, enabling management to understand the positive and negative aspects of the organisation, address areas of concern and implement appropriate systems to ensure continued compliance.

Dependant on the operator’s individual needs, our audits can cover the following areas of the operation, amongst others:

 • Operator licence compliance

 • Maintenance

 • Driver management

 • Drivers’ hours and tachographs

 • Vehicle fleet management

 • General requirements

From these areas a report is then provided, giving an overview of the operation and general comments on performance along with details of any ‘action points’ (where immediate rectification of serious issues is needed) and ‘recommendations’ (systems and best practices that they may wish to adopt).

Our basic fee is £300+VAT per day, or part day, although this may be negotiated based on the customer’s needs, fleet size and driver numbers.

For many small operators a one day audit is sufficient to help them ascertain the next steps that would be appropriate for them.

We also offer a retainer scheme which provides operators with ongoing support, regular visits to check continued compliance and other packages that can be incorporated (such as staff training).
