What is it?

Under the Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), drivers of vehicles carrying dangerous goods must hold an ADR Certificate appropriate to the hazard class(es) of the goods they carry and the way they will carry them (in packages or tanks). 

Drivers who do not already hold a valid certificate have to take an initial training course, whilst already qualified drivers can attend a refresher course or take the initial course again.

Who should attend?

Drivers that need to carry Hazard Class 3 Flammable Liquids in tanks.

Our initial training courses are designed to enable those attending to pass the relevant SQA exams required to obtain their first ADR certificate or to refresh an existing certificate that is due to expire.

What does it cost?

ADR 3 Day Initial Training Course (Core, Hazard Class 3 & Tanks) – £300.00 per person. Price includes exam fees, refreshments and VAT.

Add up to 14 hours of Driver CPC Qualification for only £12.00 including VAT per 7 hours required.

What does the course cover?

The training is delivered over 3 days using a mixture of presentations, videos, practical demonstrations and written exercises, and a comprehensive set of course notes is issued to all candidates. The course content includes:

• Core module

• Practical demonstrations

• Hazard Class 3

• Tanks module

The Core, Hazard Class 3 and Tanks exams are conducted on the afternoon of day three.
